Cal. 44 HRF. S# 102480. Bbl. 20" w/ barleycorn front sight w/ sporting leaf rear sight. Full length mag. Brass action has saddle ring on left side. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent brass buttplate. Mfg. 1872. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to brown. Shank portion of bbl. shows wrench marks. Brass action shows scattered dents & handling marks. Refinished wood is heavily over sanded. Forearm is chipped on both sides of tip & left side of action. Stock has plug type repairs in comb & toeline. Dark pitted bore. (01-17823/DS). ANTIQUE. $2,500-4,000.
